Lit Pup is officially here! Our first mini-issue is out now, the second mini-issue is set to come out in May, and our annual, full-length paperback of Lit Pup Magazine (the inaugural edition!) will appear in late June, and (shhh!) it includes a never-before-seen children’s book!

Lit Pup Magazine is the companion magazine to Lit Shark Magazine and is specifically BY and FOR children and teen writers.

We accept work from those under 18 years old, and we also accept work from children’s book, middle-grade, and YA authors who are creating work that is appropriate for younger audiences.

Lit Pup Magazine goes with the flow of the academic year, so we will release 3 to 4 mini-issues that are available as PDFs throughout the academic year (October, December, February, and April). Then, in June, around the time everyone goes on summer break and could use something new to read, we will release a paperback ANNUAL edition of Lit Pup Magazine that contains all of the material from the mini-issues, PLUS new content.
