Thank you for your interest in Lit Pup!

Lit Pup Magazine is the companion magazine to Lit Shark Magazine and is specifically BY and FOR children and teen writers.

We accept work from those under 18 years old, and we also accept work from children’s book, middle-grade, and YA authors who are creating work that is appropriate for younger audiences.

Thank you all for your support and for trusting us with your work!

This magazine is specifically made for you, so don’t be shy! Share your best work, your silliest work, your most beautiful and brilliant work! We want to see it all.

Poetry: Up to 5 poems or 10 pages

Fiction, Short Nonfiction, and Novel Excerpts: Up to 15 pages or 4500 words

Artwork: Can be with or without text, and we’d also love to see some art that centers around sharks and marine life (though that isn’t required)! Up to 10 images at a time.
